This Shipping & Return Policy explains how LumeraMD orders are processed, shipped, and, where applicable, returned or refunded. Because our products are prescription medications dispensed by licensed pharmacies, some standard retail return practices do not apply for safety reasons.

1. Order processing

Orders are not shipped until a licensed provider has reviewed your intake and issued a prescription, and payment has been confirmed. Most prescriptions are reviewed within 1 to 3 business days. If your provider needs more information or determines that therapy is not appropriate, we will notify you and your order will not proceed.

2. Shipping methods and timeframes

  • Once a prescription is approved and filled, the dispensing pharmacy typically ships within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Standard delivery generally arrives within 2 to 5 business days after shipment, depending on your location and the carrier.
  • You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

3. Temperature-sensitive shipments

Certain products are temperature sensitive and may be shipped with insulated or cold-chain packaging and expedited service to preserve stability. To protect product integrity, please retrieve your package promptly upon delivery and follow all storage instructions included with your order.

4. Shipping locations and restrictions

We currently ship only within the United States to addresses where therapy is permitted and where a licensed provider and pharmacy can lawfully serve you. Availability may vary by state. We may be unable to ship to certain addresses, and some carriers do not deliver to P.O. boxes for these shipments.

5. Shipping costs

Applicable shipping charges, including any cold-chain surcharge, are displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

6. Delivery issues

If your order is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of the expected or actual delivery date so we can help. For damaged or defective shipments, please keep all packaging and, where possible, provide photographs.

7. Returns

For your safety and in accordance with law, prescription products cannot be returned, resold, or reused once they have shipped or been delivered. This means we are generally unable to accept returns of opened or unopened prescription therapy.

8. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not what was prescribed, do not use it. Contact us promptly and we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. Replacements for damaged temperature-sensitive products are handled on a case-by-case basis with the dispensing pharmacy.

9. Cancellations

You may request to cancel an order before a prescription has been issued and the order has shipped. Once a prescription has been filled and shipped, it generally cannot be cancelled or returned.

10. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. Consultation or medical review fees, where charged, may be non-refundable once the review has been completed.
